Congratulations to Heartland Health on their Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
St. Louis (January 19, 2010) - Deedra Hartung, Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Cejka Search, is pleased to congratulate one of her recently placed candidates, Dr. Mark Laney, Chief Executive Officer, Heartland Health, on his organization's recent award of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in the health care category for 2009. The award recognizes Heartland Health's process improvement implementation techniques that have ensured this organization's place among the Geisinger, Mayo, and Cleveland Clinics as models for high quality and value health care delivery.
Ms. Hartung reinforced the important foundation of experience and successful track record in clinical integration that contributed to the selection of Dr. Laney as the right candidate to lead the organization upon the retirement of Heartland Health's CEO of twenty-five years.
