Seattle Children’s Hospital (Seattle Children’s), nationally recognized for being at the forefront of pediatric healthcare delivery due to their innovative care models, commitment to quality and service excellence and pioneering research, announces an extraordinary opportunity for a progressive healthcare executive to serve as the Vice President, Seattle Children’s Care Network and Accountable Care (Vice President). As Seattle Children’s is engaged in transformative clinically integrated strategies, expanding beyond the traditional care delivery model, the Vice President will work with key stakeholders across the organization to accelerate Seattle Children’s involvement in population health management and value-based health care delivery.
In providing strategic and operational leadership for Seattle Children’s Care Network, the Vice President will further the success of Seattle Children’s Clinically Integrated Network and other networks to provide value based care. The Vice President will align integrated relationships with external physicians and group practices, hospital and health systems and insurance networks to develop and coordinate strategies and specific initiatives that support Seattle Children’s goals to deliver value-based care and to demonstrate sustained quality, value and positive clinical outcomes. The Vice President will serve as a strategic and influential leader with operational expertise that includes network management, clinical integration, contracting and financial management, quality performance, data analytics and population health management.
Located in Seattle, Washington, Seattle Children’s serves as a pediatric and adolescent academic medical referral center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho – the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country. Seattle Children’s is consistently ranked among the nation’s best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Seattle Children’s is the primary teaching, clinical and research site for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, which is ranked as one of the top 10 pediatrics programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
The Vice President will have experience and expertise in developing and operationalizing value-based and population-based risk contracting with payors. The Vice President will possess progressive experience within a large integrated health system working to drive operational improvements across a network of ambulatory locations with an emphasis on clinical and financial integration network strategies. An advanced degree in business or healthcare is required; physician leaders with appropriate experience are encouraged to apply.
